Happy New Year
It is customary in our world of illusion to wish ourselves a happy new year, even though, there is nothing like time in the real cosmic sense. Time, delineated in years, months, weeks, days, minutes and seconds, is a creation of the ever resourceful imaginative brain of man.
By using our senses of perception, our heartbeats, the movement of the sun and the moon, and the position of the stars as reference points, mankind have managed to demarcate periods and moments of life on earth. Now, by the Gregorian calendar, it is two thousand and twenty-six years since the Birth of Christ or the Common Era, (CE).
So, dear friend, as a member of the Earth Family, I wish you a happy new year.
Together, let us give praises to the creator of life for keeping us safe through the perils of nature and from the unrelenting wickedness of man to man this past year.
Particularly, for saving us from the hateful policies and programmes of our governments and those in high places of authority of our world that were designed and sustained for our perpetual enslavement and suffering.
My wish for you in 2026, are:
- That you will have a spiritual breakthrough in consciousness;
- That your eagerness to seek spiritual prosperity will outweigh your desire for material prosperity;
- That your spiritual blindness, which prevents you from seeing all the ‘inspired’ lies — from the father of great lies and his children — and which hamstring us from enjoying the pleasures of political, economic and spiritual freedom, will be healed; and
- That the spirit of truth shall henceforth lead each of us unto the path that seeks to know and to understand the Truth of the Meaning of Life; the knowledge which can truly set us free from the killer bondages of Stupidity, Ignorance and Negligence (SIN)
Have a blessed and a spiritually fulfilled year.
Chapter 1
Introduction
We are in the season of prayers or of good wishes for a new beginning in our lives. After due reflection, there are some things we did last year we wished we haven’t done or we could have done differently. A good reflection will lead all conscious beings to seek some kind of power to enable them to rethink and to redo every gamut of actions in their lives that they deemed fell below their adjudged moral and ethical standards.
And one of the first steps towards a new beginning is the solemn contract we make within ourselves as we formulate our wishes for a new year. In our religion dominated world, these wishes are often formulated and expressed as prayers that have to be said in a sacred religious place as per the dictates of our ‘spiritual’ leaders.
The question arises, who/what do we really pray to for assistance in times of earthly problems and difficulties as we seek the stamp of approval to our solemn contracts? This is where we all have problems of conception and practice. It is a deep philosophical or theological area, which I don’t plan to address in this short dialogue.
However, for now let us work on the common understanding that there is some practices or habits called prayer and that most sentient beings indulge in the practice. Under this assumption, I wish to re-present an ancient prayer, which has been made very popular by the Christians. This prayer is called, The Lord’s Prayer and can be found in the Gospel of Matthew 6: 9-13.
In that prayer, the world is made to understand that a simple teacher from Galilee, who, at the request of those around him during a teaching session was recorded to have said:
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
It is a simple and beautiful prayer with a universal appeal. I wish to recommend this payer to all people seeking deliverance from our world of illusion.
Having been taught this prayer from kindergarten; having joined the congregation of faithful believers in rendering it at every opportunity; and having put the prayer under the searchlight of the spirit of truth, I wish to re-present this prayer as follows:
The Lord’s Prayer Re-Presented
Our creator that resides everywhere in the world,
Hallowed be the Nameless One.
Let your divine kingdom of love come to earth soon.
Let your will be done on earth world as it is done in the spirit world.
Give us today our daily bread of spiritual consciousness.
Forgive us our errors as we forgive the errors of our neighbours, friends and family.
Give us wisdom to guide us through temptations.
And let the power of your love, glory and honour reign forever in our lives.
I shall try to offer some common sense explanations to some of the reformulated or reworded concepts in the adapted prayer in the following chapters.
In the meantime, please reflect on the new prayer and consider the sense (if any) of the adaptations therein.
Chapter 2
Father in Heaven
Our creator that resides everywhere in the world
The first question that will strike a Christian fundamentalist after reading the introduction is to ask with all the venom of intolerance that is humanly possible to muster, who are you to tamper with an age long precept? Of course he/she is right to be angry. As an American saying goes, why change anything if it is not broken.
It is necessary to apologise upfront to anyone who might feel offended about this exercise of reviewing the Lord’s Prayer for a new age and time. I will like to remind readers that the gospel and the texts therein were not verbatim reports of the teacher’s teaching. They were edited version of what the writers of the gospel could gather from supposedly ear and eye witnesses of the teaching many years after the death of the teacher.
I am quite aware and fully understand how a staunch believer in an inerrant scripture will feel. Nobody likes to change from accustomed habits and practices, more especially of a belief culture. Habits often grow into automatic actions or turn us into automatons that do not require thinking anymore to perform our daily functions. Habits turn us into sleepwalkers that go about doing things without a hint of consciousness.
Saying the Lord’s Prayer has become a performance of mere habit. It does not touch our consciousness anymore, which is the only prerequisite ingredient required for life. Since it is only those who are spiritually conscious that are truly alive, the Lord’s Prayer has become the prayer of the dead.
Indeed, the state of mankind today is a state of the dead or of the dying souls. Everything we do or the actions we take and the events happening around us, lack the sparks of consciousness, which ought to qualify a person to be in a state of being truly alive.
As I said in the last essay, I have been a part of the dead souls singing and saying this prayer from kindergarten. But unlike many others I came alive. I woke up from my slumbering state and become conscious of my uncomfortable surroundings and of my awkward self.
In such a wakeful state and like a newborn baby, one begins to ask questions: Why do we do this or that action? What is the meaning of common words in popular usage? What is the essence of each and all things that the five sense organs are picking up? The inborn sense of curiosity is naturally triggered when any of us wake up.
A focus on religion generally and the so-called enforced religious beliefs and practices bring out a rush of confusion that perplexes the mind. There is nothing happening in the world of religion that seems to be the actions of sound minds. There are so many delusions; many sound bites; and many irreconcilable habits that have no meaning to spiritual reality. Yet, these noises attract a great mass of people. Why is this so?
These and many other questions engaged my attention and inadvertently sent me on a seeker’s quest.
Here we are, trying to disturb the serene motion of the profitable apple cart of long held beliefs and practices. The intention is not merely to disturb but to rebuild the apple cart, discard the poisonous apples it is carrying and make the cart really good and safe for the journey of liberation of souls. The present state of religion is “full of sound and fury that signify nothing”. Unfortunately, this nothingness is still capable of sending souls to sleep and into a deep slumber for that matter.
Having got that introduction out of the way, let us see why we make the changes we made to The Lord’s Prayer.
On Father and Heaven
“Our creator that resides everywhere in the world”
In the first line of The Lord’s Prayer Re-presented, I have changed our father and heaven from the original prayer to our creator and everywhere in the world respectively. Why?
The God concept has many interpretations as per the number of people using the word. The history of God or gods showed that in many ancient societies the worship of supernatural forces first began with the worship of goddesses. This was because women were seen as the sacred vessels through which new life are reproduced. Women were revered to the extent that different cults emerged for the worship of women goddesses and to whom individual and community forward their wish lists or prayer requests.
The emergence of the warlike man as a warmonger needed a supernatural force that could be called upon in times of battles and wars with neighbours. A goddess that was associated with giving and nurturing life could not be trusted to do the job of safeguarding the head-hunters, killers and murderers. A change of communal worship from the female goddess to a new concept of a male god – a war commandant and definitely a macho figure – followed and emerged to replace the goddess. The cults of the male god have since relegated the cult of the female goddess to the background and has eventually or almost wiped the goddess worship off the face of the earth.
The political overlords in the world had since created the necessary cultural norms and mores to support the conceptual and ideological changes and the moulding of figurative persona befitting a new male god. The core of the changes in ethos and practices is first to ridicule with dangerous powerful mythology the nature of women; to suppress the hitherto superior status that the women folk enjoy in the community; and to eventually establish the cult of new gods promoted as father-figures. The male gods are expected to protect the community from physical harm, particularly in wars.
This is where any awakened soul will face some problems of comprehension when the history of gods is placed under the light of rigorous reasoning. As it is now, the factual story of our world shows that god-creating is purely the business of mankind. We seem to be the creator of gods and goddesses. These gods are fashioned in our own image and they are custom-made to meet the demands of our physical needs and our psychological conditions in life. Most importantly, the state of our intellectual development has always determined the style and packaging of the artefacts of worship – the books, songs, icons, wood or stone sculpted images etc.
Flowing from the history or the oral myths of gods, it seems that when we characterise God, the creator of the universes as father or mother, we are only regressing back to the primordial state of life when everything in nature that surrounded our ancestors was overwhelmingly terrifying. This was the time, when all kinds of theatrical and dance performances by the witch doctors or the shamans were needed to ward off the power of the evil spirits roaming around at night, in the storm, in the shadows, causing sicknesses, poverty, famine, or drought on individuals and communities, etc.
In my humble opinion, this form of belief systems show a lack of understanding of what God as a concept means. Since awakening, I realised how corrupted the concept of God has become. I have tried to use the term, The Creator, as a substitute in discourses. I tend to presume that a host of people that tagged themselves or are tagged as atheists or agnostics have similar problem of accepting the popular imagery of the God concept that are in use by various religious institutions. Particularly, those religious beliefs that emanated from the Middle East.
Hence, the enlightened atheists/agnostics in their spiritual conscious state have refused outright to swallow the myth of God as articulated in the different ‘holy books’ from the Middle East.
Obviously, the light of truth within these enlightened people could no longer accept at face value any truth found in the body of doctrines or in the belief systems put forward by the various religious practitioners and apologists. Most atheists and agnostics, after diligently evaluating the sense or senselessness of the Middle Eastern conceptions of god, the illogical philosophies and the interpretations presented in support of the origin of the warrior gods, have quietly refused to participate in the manmade fraud.
Similarly, the concept of Heaven in The Lord’s Prayer seems to imply that God is resident outside our world in a mythological place named Heaven. When we accept the logic of Heaven as a physical place that we relocate to only after death and a place outside of ourselves, we have unknowingly sever the oneness of all life beings with an artificial dichotomy. This type of mental division is completely outside the spiritual reality of life.
These are the challenging observations that an awakened soul has to grapple with and must find answers pleasing to one’s soul before a soul can be set free to pursue its divine purpose.
The Art of Knowing
Mankind can only know by utilising the ordained sense organs. The processing of various stimuli brought to the brain is what the mind uses to make sense of the world of phenomenon. Whatever result the mind produces, through thinking, imagination, intuition and inspiration, is what we call knowledge. However, most Homo sapiens never put the sense organs to use and they are forced to depend on the handouts from the minuscule number, who did. Such second-hand knowledge, with the passage of time, becomes corrupted beyond recognition.
The original knowledge shared by the few awakened minds, when picked up by the mentally indolent Homo sapiens often end up as a decorated and repackaged Religion in its final decadent stage. After many years of recycling the debased knowledge by second-hand panderers and most especially by clever charlatans amongst the Homo Sapiens, the liberating truth of the knowledge that was supposed to set the souls of mankind free, would have irredeemably lost its power.
In other words, a host of practices labelled as religion today emanated originally as a product of the senses of an awakened mind. The conversion of products of intellectual and philosophical properties into a dumb down ideological and doctrinal materials in holy books were not designed to heal the spiritually blind, deaf and dumb souls but to keep worshippers in a state of utter ignorance and spiritual limbo. The bastardisation of knowledge and truth is what the political leaders and the lovers of power in all societies do in order to keep the herd of humanity in slavery. This is Realpolitik.
As far as the Kings (or the politicians of today), the Pharisees (the Priests of today) and the Moneylenders (the Bankers of today) are concerned, Religion and its artefacts are unassailable tool for the weaponisation of mass control of the human race. It worked in the ancient times and it is working today.
At various times in history, there have been rotations among these three power lovers of power as to who leads the hierarchy of controllers. Today, the bankers are in control of the pack as they are presently behind the fine-tuning mechanisms for the establishment of the One World Government along with its twin sister, the One World Religion.
It is imperative to stress that the onus to unravel these two coded words, father and heaven, should be the first step a person wishing to arise from the state of spiritual unconsciousness must take towards obtaining freedom from the world matrix. It is only a rigorous and consistent devotion to the habit of reflection on the meaning of life that can bring each of us out of the enslaving world of religious fiction into the true freedom of spiritual reality.
It is also important for the purpose of understanding the essence of the explanation we are proffering here, to see the Lord’s Prayer as a tool of meditation rather than articles for bargaining pleas to the Gods that we have been cleverly prevented from knowing and understanding. Hence, when we begin to meditate on the words of The Lord’s Prayer devotedly and to focus our attention keenly on The Creator that resides everywhere and particularly within us, it is a good sign that we are now beginning to gain awareness about the religious hoax of entrapment played on mankind over the years.
This is what I discovered after many years in religious darkness and of course with the help of the spirit of truth:
- That each of us abides in the creator of life and the creator of life abides in each one of us;
- That there is no separation between the creator and us; and that we are one with the creator;
- That the creator is not a physical person with either a separate male or female physical attributes; and
- That we should no longer be misled in to calling the creator a mother or a father.
In my humble opinion, it is a profane notion to carry an image of God, the father in our minds without an image of God, the mother as well. Such imagery corrupts the sacred truth of the wholeness of God as the beginning and the end of all things. THE CREATOR is simultaneously a father and a mother as well as everything known and yet to be known in the universe. Because the creator resides everywhere and in all things known and yet to be known.
Let us remember that words are powerful symbols of spells or blessings. They can convey different as well as particular imagery to the user and the listener. Therefore, when we teach a child that The Creator is a father, naturally the child will form an image in his/her mind by which to understand the symbol. With God as a father, the child will form an image of an ageless, long-bearded old man similar to a Father Christmas, who brings loads of gift for children.
This is how the society or the parents are unknowingly programming the children with an imprint that will remain as long as the person lives on this planet.
Accordingly, persons that grow with the image of God as father will say and address their prayers to the ageless bearded man that resides in a fairy place outside of them called heaven.
With this brief explanation on father and heaven, I wish to submit that the age long concept of God as father is a fallacy and untruth. With this type of popular but profane conception of God in our minds, there will forever be a mental and a spiritual disconnect between the praying (meditating) person and the creator that resides everywhere and particularly within the person. Rather than focus the mind on the God within, a deliberately misinformed person will fruitlessly seek the God outside of self.
Please don’t take my word for it, assimilate this simple mantra into your mind, which says, I exist in God and God exists in me. Therefore, I and God are one, as you begin a truthful seeking and searching for the truth of the meaning of life and the truth of existence.
The simple teacher of Galilee is also recorded in one of his teachings to have said, “Then you will know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.” John 8:32
This discourse on the Lord’s Prayer is solely about freedom, nothing more and nothing less. Freedom is the only sure prospect and a just reward for an awakened soul who is earnestly working towards spiritual prosperity.
Chapter 3
The Name
Hallowed be the Nameless One
Before we continue on this discourse let me quickly state that the objective is not to critic the Lord’s Prayer as contained in the scriptures but principally, to raise it up from the debris and to clean off the dust that vulgar religiosity has placed on it.
In my reckoning, the Lord’s Prayer is a meditational tool for all mankind. It is not an exclusive intellectual property of a particular religion. The composition and presentation of the original prayer is set out to apply to all living souls.
It is my hope that this discourse will shift the focus of mankind away from a delusional belief system that binds (ligare) to a liberating knowledge-based system that sets free; and away from a blind faith obsession that cripples the mind to a sighted experiential discovery that heals the mind.
“Hallowed be the Nameless One”.
This might appear like an insignificant change to The Lord’s Prayer; changing “thy name” to “the Nameless One”. Obviously from the presentation of the original prayer, it is either Matthew and Luke, the editors of the two gospels that recorded The Lord’s Prayer did not know the name of the father or like most cultures in the world, names are such a big deal that unless with permission you don’t call a person by name if you are junior in age or status to the person.
In the good old English tradition, if you call an allegedly superior gentleman by his first name or even surname without the appropriate title, he will curtly say to you, “Mr or Sir or ‘Lord’ so and so to you, if you don’t mind.”
In my neck of the woods as well, name is a serious big deal. Children were taught never to call their seniors by name without a respectful prefix: like sister or brother, or auntie or uncle. Some people are so particular that only the prefix will do because to mention the name of an elder is seen as a taboo for anyone who is junior in age.
Drawing inference from this peculiar but common tradition, we can assume it is indeed an ancient custom found in every culture in the world. Humanity gives due respect to names of their elders by age and seniors in status. We can therefore understand the super-sacred reverence that those in the religious community give to the name of the One we all adjudged as the supreme being, the creator of life, the almighty, the sustainer etc..
Now, the simple teacher of Galilee who taught his audience to address and to post their prayers to, “Our father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name” was following in the tradition of the people of the land where he was born and bred. The Rabbinical Judaism actually taught and is still teaching that the name of The Creator is “forbidden to all except the High Priest, who should only speak it in the Holy of Holies of the Temple in Jerusalem on Yom Kippur”.
Those who have done a bit of digging into the history of the Hebrews, will know how dangerous the religious police of those days were (and still are in the present day) with respect to the laws of blasphemy. The Teacher of Galilee had to walk on eggshells, as it were, for three years to avoid falling into the trap of the ever watchful and the overzealous religious police to be able to share his revolutionary teachings.
The above is mentioned to help us understand the environment that dictated the use of innocuous words or even the idea of teaching in proverbs and parables that the teacher adopted. We could reason that, this manner of teaching was not done for exclusive or esoteric reasons but to prevent the religious police from shutting him up even before he started his work of teaching and healing the spiritually blind, deaf, dumb and crippled.
In the various religious communities in the world – starting from the three super-Abrahamic Monotheist Faiths that forbids affiliation or competition of any kind with any other god, to several other liberal religious faiths from the Far East and other parts of the world – each religious body and even breakaway sects of the original body have different names attached to the God concept.
Jainism, for example, even forbids the use of the idea of a creator because all things have always existed. So, how do we know what name to call THE ONE, who our rational minds have conceived to be the beginning and the end of all things?
As I mentioned earlier under the section, Art of Knowing, we can only know through what is fed to or picked up by our sense organs and the interpretation our mind gives to what we perceived, after numerous and infinite computations of the data. Experience has taught us that our physical beings have a beginning by birth and an end by death. When we look around us, we also see various forms of life and by simple mental deduction we realise they also have beginning as well as end. The next stage in the reasoning progression is to go further and ask, how did everything that has a life begin?
This is a cognition issue that is part of our design as a being with elaborate and intricate brain cells and fantastic almost magical sense organs. We are designed to be curious and it is only through our curiosity that we can know who we are.
In my humble opinion, the only assigned goal I will suggest that is worthy of pursuit by every Homo sapiens on planet earth is to seek “To Know Thyself”. It is only through the seeking and searching for the Knowledge of Self that each of us can know and understand the true meaning of the God concept.
Therefore, in suggesting a Nameless One in the Re-Presented Lord’s Prayer, we borrowed the idea from Lao Tzu of China, who said:
“Tao (The Way) that can be spoken of is not the Constant Tao. The name that can be named is not a Constant Name. Nameless, is the origin of Heaven and Earth”
Our brain cannot conceive beyond its assigned capacity and programmed capability. We can only give names to things that we can see, touch, smell, hear and taste. We cannot know anything beyond the wave frequencies detectable by our senses. It is not possible to give a name to something that is outside our senses of perception.
The naming exercise of the God concept has brought out diverse names to the extent that one of the Abrahamic Faith, Islamism, says God has 99 names. Another one, Christianism, says God is only realisable in three persons; and another, Judaism, gave many other permutations and combinations of names as well as four vowels that cannot be called and should not be called but can only be referred to as The Tetragrammaton.
The wars fought on what the exact name of god is, has claimed countless lives on planet earth. It has destroyed and reduced many cities and communities to rubble by the combating, raving and rampaging religious parties. The various antagonists (intra- and inter-religious parties) have done a lot of atrocious bloody things to push a particular name as the only name of their chosen god. They have zealously and jealously rose in the defence of the honour of a particular erroneous name even with their lives. Poor lots!
To my friends and family in any of the religious communities, if your ancestors have waged bloody wars, killed, slaughtered and murdered neighbours, friends and family members because they committed errors by calling, praying, and worshipping the God concept by other names different to the one your ancestors erroneously assumed to be the one and only name that the creator must be addressed, please apologise to all humanity on their behalf.
They were wrong and you are wrong if you are still claiming to know the particular name by which the creator of heaven and earth should go by.
The situation that lead to Religious Wars can be compared to the fable of the six blind men who were trying to describe an elephant by using only the sense organs of touch and smell. For any of the blind men, using ten fingers to feel only a small part of the body of an elephant, to claim he has the absolute description of what an elephant looks like is obviously laughable. Yet, that is what each and every claimant in the religious communities, particularly those that originated from the Middle East, are doing with respect to the knowledge of what the name of the God concept is.
Although, if the six blind men would come together and share their individual findings, it is possible to get a better (certainly not a perfect picture, considering the circumstances of their disability) of the shape of the elephant. This is exactly the problem that has befallen humanity from time memorial. Each cult sets out with an assumption, even some with absolute certainty, that it is in custody by revelation or other mystic sources of the absolute truth of the meaning of life. By refusing to compare notes with his/her fellow brothers and sisters, the cult goes about imposing its erroneous belief on others with dastardly consequences on everyone within its territorial vicinity.
Dear Family and Friends, I am proposing that we should reconsider the popular word called “God” as a concept, a principle and a symbol with variable cultural interpretations. God is not a name of a supernatural being. I humbly submit that the word GOD with its many language derivatives and from the way it is used in every culture across the planet earth, represents the collective beings of everything that is, of everything that was and of everything that will be. It is a word that describes or stands for the life energy or the life force of all beings in the universe. God is the total sum of everything seen and unseen, visible and invisible. God is not a person but it is all persons and everything that exist in nature.
I think, P-J Proudhon in his essay on ‘The Philosophy of Misery’, captures the sense of what the God-idea is beautifully well:
“God, Nature, and man are three aspects of one and the same being; man is God himself arriving at self-consciousness through a thousand evolutions.”
This statement from Proudhon, to all those under the yoke of faith-based beliefs, particularly of the Middle-East Brand, will be seen as a sacrilege and the proposer of the idea is surely worthy of head decapitation on earth and a sentence to hell fire in heaven without any further delay.
We need to constantly remember what the simple Teacher of Galilee said about knowing the truth and being set free by it. The main verb is KNOW the truth, not BELIEVE the truth. (“Then you will know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.”)
Also, remember that we can only know what the truth is by using our common senses as antenna to collect the wave frequencies floating around us as well as those collated as texts in books and other readable materials. The habit and desire to seek and to search for knowledge of the true meaning of life is the very first tentative step towards the knowledge of self. The knowledge of self contains all the truth we need to know to be set free. The acquisition of the knowledge of self is a ladder towards the knowledge of the God concept.
Like the six blind men, we must resist the idea of narrowly focusing on a minute aspect of the God concept as propagated by religious institutions, which prohibits us from borrowing ideas from other seekers of truth. We must be weary of those who lay claim to knowing what the absolute truth of life is. The truth of life is contained in every and in all manifestations of life. The God concept cannot be bottled/sealed up in one particular book. Every book that is ever produced by mankind is inspired by God and will reveal a tiny bit of the manifestation of the God concept. We must begin afresh to compare and contrast all the claims and to allow the God within us to lead us to the truth that can liberate the soul.
As we proceed on this journey of unlearning our age-long disinformation programmes, always recall the mantra we mentioned in the last essay: I exist in God and God exists in me. Therefore, God and I are one.
Chapter 4
The Kingdom
Let your divine kingdom of love come to earth soon
“Not to know what happened before you were born is to be a child forever.
For what is the time of a man, except it be interwoven with that memory of ancient things of a superior [by gone] age?”
– Marcus Tullius Cicero, 42 B.C
A good number of Homo sapiens do not know and do not care to know anything that has happened before they arrived on earth. With this level of palpable ignorance, their enslavement and oppression are made relatively easy for the overlords of the kingdom of man. Guided by the above quote from Cicero, let us continue with the explanatory note on the Re-Presented Lord’s Prayer for the consideration of serious seekers of the truth of life.
On The Kingdom
The next line of The Lord’s Prayer says, “Thy kingdom come and thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” In the re-presented version we say, “Let your divine kingdom of love come to earth soon. Let your will be done on earth world as it is done in the spirit world.”
The word KINGDOM would have had a very different meaning to the audience of the simple teacher of Galilee whose teaching we are reviewing. The Bible historians gave us glimpses of kingdoms like Assyria, Babylon, Egypt and Persia before the time of the teacher. Several kingdoms came and went in the lives of the Israelites and the Judaeans and all of them left bitter experiences behind.
These kingdoms brought forced dispersal/exile, bloodshed, tears and sorrows to the simple folks of Palestine. At the time the teacher was going about teaching a revolutionary message of love among the poor folks, the Roman Kingdom or Empire was in full but chaotic control of the land of Palestine.
It was a time of bloody political rebellion against the unwanted power of the Roman Empire. So, we can imagine the joy of the listeners when the teacher mentioned kingdom in the said prayer.
However, the ears of the religious police and the imperial intelligence agents would have tickled with a flashing signal – TROUBLE. As we said in the last chapter, the teacher had adopted proverbs and parables as a tool of teaching to avoid the law of blasphemy and for self-protection to secure a short moment for his work.
Kingdom (king + dominion or domain) denotes there is a person called king with inalienable right to dominion over lands and power of life and death over people. A king is seen by the poor folks as a god on earth with the so-called divine authority to bind or to lose anything and anyone under his jurisdiction. Personally, having read a bit of history on the atrocious and psychopathic behaviour of the royals, my spirit recoils in horror when it hears about kings and queens.
The history of this caliber of people known as the royals is woven with bloodshed right from the birth of the monarchical institution on earth. Acquiring power over others does not come on a platter. The Acquisitors often have a high dose of wickedness in their make-up or what psychiatrists called psychopathic traits. The processes of acquisition of kingship and kingdom are the classic case of evil in operation. In order to understand the meaning of devil and evil concepts, you don’t need to go too far, read up on the history of kings and kingdoms on earth.
Therefore, when we say, “Let your kingdom come,” we need to ask, which kingdom are we praying for?
In our recent history, we know about the British Empire. To those in the motherland of the empire, the period of the empire was a joyous, blissful and prosperous time that is still remembered and recalled with nostalgic fond memories. To the various conquered, raped and pillaged human races across the world, it is a memory that is better forgotten for its remembrance has never failed to bring sadness, tears and sorrow.
In our contemporary life, we know of the American Empire that has been disturbing the peace of every country that refuses to bow to her diktat. Its intrusion into the affairs of every country that has something of worth that America feels she needs and wants for what she often calls her national interest, is legendary. We know of the ongoing big plan to establish One World Government (kingdom) under a New World Order Order. When we studied the processes that went into all the above, we found they entail deception, hate, cruelty, bloodshed and wars. These processes are not divine acts.
Could the teacher then be thinking of a kingdom in the mode of a king ruling over people?
A King that can only be installed after many millions of innocent people have been sacrificed in bloody wars. I don’t think so. Knowing what we already know about the evil tyrannical power of kings.
The project of establishing the ‘kingdom of man’ has never ceased to be the main focus of the psychopaths since the creation of the male god. The holy books from the Middle East are full of stories and prophecies on the coming of a King or Messiah or Mahdi. This is the bait that every believer in religions that emanated from the Middle East has swallowed line, hook and sinker. We must reject the concept of a king that rules over others because it negates the principle of equality of persons and life.
Remember what we said when we defined the God concept as, “the total sum of all things seen and unseen, visible and invisible. God is not a person but it is all persons and everything that exist in nature.” The principle of equality of life flows from this conception of God. It means that every one within the composite called God has equal and same property or essence of life. If we are in agreement with this definition, let us ask ourselves, what then gives any earthling the prerogative to carry daggers, bows, arrows, and other kinds of vicious weapons, to attack and to slaughter fellow human beings for the purpose of subjugating them to his will?
This is the history of our world and the history of the prim and proper royals and their court jesters: dukes, lords, barons, chiefs etc. Today they look respectable, cosmopolitan and sophisticated but we must not be fooled by the outward appearances. They are heinous characters in and out.
The history of the establishment of monarchical system of governance and the guiding spirit behind owning an empire is evil through and through.
So, when the teacher discussed the kingdom of god, the imagination of the carnal-minded followers could not go beyond what they know about the royalties around them. They could only see the psychopathic puppets, the Herodians in power and they reckoned the teacher was talking about replacing them with a new royal house. The history of how splendidly regal and holy the Royal House of David was, had been told over and over again that most people have actually believed the mythical spin and fairy tales as a true history. However, the reality of the royals, even of the Judaean, was marred in bloodshed, both within the “holy royal” family members and outside the neighbouring Regions/Peoples.
Therefore, the rewording of the line to: “Let your divine kingdom of love come to earth”, is to situate a kingdom that has no relationship whatsoever with what has been drummed into the ears and minds of the people of the world as reality. The present kingdoms in the world are built on the spirit of hate that makes political practices based on inequality, injustice and enslavement of people possible. A divine kingdom of love must indeed be completely different because it is only under the umbrella of divine love that sociopolitical practices based on equality, justice and freedom are possible and effortless.
In my seeking and searching for the truth of life, one thing that struck my consciousness very early in my exploration was the question of God as King. It occurred to me that the kings of the world are claiming to be an imitation of God in heaven; and that they are God’s representative on earth. Accordingly, they set themselves up on a throne made of gold because God has a throne in heaven. They set up court courtiers because there are angels in heaven serving God as chorus singers, messengers and emissaries.
In fact, by their man-made and profane beliefs, everything about the royalty on earth is an imitation of what these sick people imagined heaven is. Knowing what we know about the demonic and odious history of monarchical rule in the world, our minds should reject totally and emphatically this carnal understanding of heaven. Our minds when fully sanctified by the knowledge of truth would know that such gods on throne do not exist.
Thus, in praying for a divine kingdom of love (God) on earth, we must be conversant with what a kingdom of Hate is and have the spiritual discernment to know the difference. The total package of what we know as kingdom so far in the world is of that which was born of the seeds of hate. The very important characters behind the kingdom projects from time memorial are the sick psychopaths and the detestable class of humanity that follows them as sheep. These hideous set of people have been running the show since the female deities (goddess) were dislodged from been worshipped. The difference between the two deities is, while the female deity is a giver and nurturer of life; the male deity since its creation is a congenital taker and destroyer of life.
The worship of any deity is all right just as it is all right to feed a nursing baby with breast milk. As soon as the baby begins to grow teeth, one or two painful bites on the mother’s nipple will tell the nursing mother that solid food is now required. Mankind was once a baby on planet earth when we know no better. Hence, the attention we paid to the creation and worship of deities were necessary psychological defence mechanism to ward off fear and anguish that life on earth brought to our ancestors. We, who are alive today and of this generation, can do better now with all the philosophical theories of life that the minds of thinkers have propounded and the ensuing scientific and technological innovations that have made life on earth better, more comfortable and more endurable.
Therefore, when mankind is praying to the God in heaven rather than meditating on what our senses feed to the mind, we are like babies who are yet to be weaned off baby food. Our mode of intercourse with the divine has to change when we constantly remember that, “We exist in God and God exist in us and we and God are one.” This mantra tells us that there is nothing out there that is not within us.
Consequently, let us learn to converse and dialogue with the one within us and the one within us will give us answers to all our knotty questions accordingly.
It is only through the knowledge of the divine that mankind can escape the snares the psychopaths are setting up for mankind through the new Kingdom of Man (alias, New World Order). All the strategic instruments for the establishment of this Kingdom of Hate is in place and their chosen king is about to be crowned. Yet, the simple and the meek who sincerely believed in the myth of the three religious institutions from the Middle East are earnestly looking elsewhere for the Second Coming or the Mahdi or the Messiah.
A divine kingdom of love can be established on earth when a substantial proportion of mankind have come to know who they are. Working together under the guidance of the spirit of truth, the spiritually enlightened souls that are scattered all over the world can help the host of mankind, who are still fooling around and held spellbound by the various contradictory religious ideologies. These are the nefarious ideologies developed and promoted by hidden slave masters, to trap mankind into the slave bondage of ignorance and fear.
As a result of lack of knowledge on the historical ramifications that surrounded the development of these religious ideologies, the praying religionists have made themselves easy catch for the preying psychopaths who are presently running the political and economic affairs of our world.
It is indeed correct that only true knowledge can set us free. “Then you will know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.”
Chapter 5
The Will
Let thy will be done as it is done in heaven
We have looked at the first two lines of the re-presented Lord’s Prayer and we have offered some common sense explanations as to why we suggested the use of “the Creator” instead of “our father”; we have explained why we suggested the use of “the Nameless One” for the Creator.
The second line of the original prayer is broken into two: Let your divine kingdom of love come to earth soon. Let your will be done on earth world as it is done in the spirit world.
In Chapter 4, we have looked at The Kingdom and we have explained that the teacher of Galilee must have had a different kind of Kingdom in mind from what was known in his time as kingdoms or empires. Those kingdoms, both then and now, have nothing of love in them because the kings and those behind them were hateful psychopaths.
We did not go very far to look at what a kingdom of love might be or ought to be. As we proceed further in the discourse we shall be able to suggest or opine on what a kingdom of love should look like.
Now, what is the will of “the father” that is done in the “spirit world”, which we are praying to see to be done on earth?
Is the will a written commandment/testament available to all or a chosen few?
Is the will coded into the body of all creations naturally or is it grafted artificially or esoterically after birth?
A WILL can be a wish, a desire that we hope would be fulfilled during life. For example, a person of means and of great wealth is often advised to write a Will before his death to avoid unnecessary squabbling or outright bloodbath among his/her loved ones after his/her death. Such written Wills, will contain ample instructions and unambiguous directives as to, who among his/her offsprings, friends and acquaintances should have what of the assets and property left behind by a deceased benefactor. A written Will often give opportunity to wealthy Homo sapiens to act out their imagined nature of God.
With much wealth around a person, it is easy to see the rich play the role of a little god as the Rich Fool who attempts to direct the affairs of the life of his/her family and friends remotely from the grave. Some Wills written by the imitator of God will contain blessings in words and in cash for those who were good to him and curses in words and denial of cash for those who are bad. This is the manner of our carnal conception of what a Will is on earth.
The WILL of the Creator
We need to know what the WILL of the Creator is before we can devote our life to its pursuit and to pray for its fulfilment. How do we know what the will of the creator is for our individual lives?
We have been saying the Lord’s Prayer from forever and yet most people never took the pain to reflect on the words of the prayer.
“Let thy will be done as it is done in heaven”
What does it mean? How is thy will done in heaven? Does anybody know? What is heaven and where is heaven?
Most religionists use these concepts daily but never bothered to dig deep to understand their meaning. We were taught to memorize the prayers at the kindergarten level and like most things learnt at that stage of life, only a few people in adulthood revisit them to check out what they really mean.
In Chapter 2, we offered the following propositions:
“That each of us abides in the creator of life and the creator of life abides in each one of us;
That there is no separation between the creator and us; and that we are one with the creator;
That the creator is not a physical person with either a separate male or female physical attributes; and that we should no longer be misled in to calling the creator mother or father.”
If according to the above, the creator (alias our Father in heaven) is not a person and its nature/spirit abides in us and we abide in the creator, then to know what the creator is, it will make more sense to look at one of the physical manifestation of the creator on planet earth. Mankind seems to fit into that bill or just more handy than any creation on earth for our purpose.
In other to know what the will of the creator is, then we need to ask the question in plain language, who and what is mankind? What is the truth about mankind? Are we real as in physical form or are we illusion/dream or spirit? There are loads of theories or propositions as regards our nature in terms of our physicality and spirituality.
It is from this perspective I wish to introduce you to what I speculate to be as near as possible to the truth. This speculative discourse will depend on a host of other seekers around the world who I came across.
I partook in the sumptuous spiritual dinner that these noble authors and thinkers cooked up and served generously to all seekers. I was thirsty and hungry and these spiritually sighted authors fed me. My appetite was ravenous; I was greedy for soul food.
I savoured every sweet-smelling aroma of knowledge I could lay my nose/eyes on. As one of the teachers from Middle East is alleged to have said, “Seek knowledge as far as China” or rephrased as “Seek knowledge to the end of the world”. I took this injunction to heart, wholeheartedly.
On Body-Mind-Soul Complex (The Trinity)
Let us ask, what is mankind composed of?
We have said, “It is only through the seeking and the searching for the knowledge of self that each of us can know and understand the true meaning of the God concept.”
I wish to speculate that the trinity concept/doctrine, which the church fathers of the Christian religion have fashioned into the fundamental principle of a belief system, is based on erroneous foundation. That true TRINITY is not the complex wordy constructions like “one person is consubstantial with God” or the “homoousios, of one substance.”
Though, when we translate these words, they have some relevant meanings to the truth of self but the church fathers were more concerned about sowing confusion than throwing light into a very important matter. The Church fathers, who were aware of the nature of man, knows that you can only control and manipulate a confused and ill-informed people. Control of the mass of the people was the primary objective and the final goal was power over land and people. Hence, the obfuscation of truth by the use of strange words to bamboozle the poor folks of Europe was deliberate.
In my humble opinion, TRINITY is the composite structure of all life forms, particularly that of mankind. All persons are composed of three distinctive parts – BODY, MIND and SOUL.
The physical body is the visible part. Mind and Soul are invisible to the sense of sight. The body is the visible outer covering for the physically invisible mind and soul. The body is like a vehicular structure with a covering material suitably designed for the atmosphere on planet earth.
The body is designed to grow physically from conception to a potential limit and to regress gradually in old age till it dies. It is a magnificent engineering piece of machine from which scientists and technologists have borrowed copiously for all their engineering inventions.
The Mind is of a non-matter material and act like a central memory bank/reference library/pocket notebook etc. where a person keeps all the earthly treasures he/she has discovered in the realm of knowledge. The amount of hard work put into the seeking and collection of knowledge pays off substantially afterwards because it constructs the mind, block by block, like as you build a house. The power/strength of the mind depends on the nature of materials used for its construction.
A mind built with fictitious and untruthful knowledge as basic materials, is like a “house built on sand”. It will crumble in no time when the owner faces the stormy tests and natural temptations of life. The mind when properly built becomes the self-generating battery and powerhouse that stimulates the second birth – the birth of the Soul.
The soul is also of a non-matter substance. In fact, the soul is the true essence of all life. The soul is the original part of our being that derives its origin from the source of life. The God principle at the beginning of life and as an eternal energy/force must have split itself equally into myriad of micro- or ‘nano-souls’ without keeping anything to itself. This is what I think that the scientists, for lack of adequate words, refer to as the Big Bang. The moment when all souls or all lives emanated from one single Source, the “Godhead.”
We should leave the HOW and the WHEN of the extraordinary Big Bang phenomenon to the thinkers and scientists to fathom out. Like many other riddles of life that have been solved, with time and the usual single-minded dedication by serious scientists, mankind will get the correct answers sooner than later.
At the present stage of life, the Body-Mind-Soul complex is what we have to work and play around with when we desire to figure out the Will of the Creator of life. From the above speculative nuggets of fact, we can deduce that mankind is both a physical and a spirit being. We can safely say, mankind is composed of one part physical (body) and two parts spirit (Mind and Soul).
Waging War on the Mind
Of the three components, the mind is the only part of the Body-Mind-Soul complex that depends on man for its construction. The body is the clothing manufactured through Papa and Mama’s reproductive networking as designed by Nature/God. The soul is the mini Nature/God that the body was designed to protect. In the Mama’s womb, the soul is the ’craftsman’ that actually build the body as per the codes embedded in the seed properties of the sperms and the ovaries. And most importantly as per the evolutionary plans and the divine works a soul desires to do on earth.
By the natural design, the foetus starts its learning and educational duties from the womb. Scientists have now discovered that the developing foetuses react to sound stimulation as early as 21 to 42 weeks. Learning is a natural phenomenon found in all living things.
The foundation for the building of the mind starts very early indeed. If there is no disturbance, natural or artificial, the newborn baby will go on acquiring knowledge steadily from every available source in his/her environment. A stimulating environment, where all the senses can receive necessary and unpolluted information, is all that the mind needs to build for itself a powerhouse and a protective stronghold for survival in the world.
Unfortunately, the overlords of the world are deliberately disturbing this natural educational development. The self-serving political brilliant men behind the mask understand the frailty of the human mind at the early stage as a malleable and programmable instrument. Through the discovered Science of Suggestibility over the mind, they set out to prevent the natural evolution of our inborn divinity, the original nature of man. By clogging the mind from infancy with fear-based mythology, the Soul Being is prevented from coming into life.
The soul, which is the real being or person, is forced to remain incognito because the natural design of body-mind-soul progression has been abridged. A seamless progression from the physical birth of Body to the Mind development to the Soul Rebirth is cleverly short-circuited.
The mind is deliberately filled with so much crap and fairy tales of unnatural knowledge of the state of being that it fails to ignite the fire of truth in the belly of every human being. Without a personal effort to set the mind on fire, through the acquisition of natural knowledge, the light of the soul cannot shine through. The soul as the carrier of the divine Will or property of the Creator, is the main driver and true owner of the life of all Reborn persons.
The perverted state of our world, which all living souls and fair-minded people can see and feel, is the unpalatable consequences of the war that those in darkness have relentlessly waged on the sons and daughters of light, the true leaders of our world. The war objective on the mind is designed to prevent the birth or the emancipation of souls on planet earth. The strategy entails the development and propagation of warped concepts, principles and teachings that are unnatural to the human psyche.
The corruption of education in every country in the world can only be understood under this war objective, which is, to prevent the divine nature of mankind from evolving. This is the real abortion – the soul abortion that occurs when ample poison of indigestible ideologies are fed to the mind.
Unfortunately, Religion, which is supposed to elevate mankind into the divine state, is at the forefront and it is the critical force/weapon behind the war project on the mind.
This is the great challenge confronting the few souls that have successfully escaped from the prison cell or from the sheep pens where the daily and weekly dosages of the poisonous materials are being injected. The real miracle of our time is when we find a pocket of escapees from the supposedly well-guarded maximum-security prisons designed for the brainwashing programmes of mankind.
How anyone could escape from the well-guarded prisons — when the war programme of sabotaging the SOUL BIRTH started from infancy –is indeed a miracle. If we were born and bred into the programme of delusion and that is all we know, it will sound crazy when anyone comes along to tell us there is a different way of knowing, of doing things and of living a divine life. In summary, it is only possible to know the Will of the creator when the soul is alive because each living soul has the chips and codes of The Will. Each individual has a tailor-made and person-specific Will from the Creator. The confusion in the world arises when the priests or those behind the Power Game decided to write a general Will or a Commandment for mankind. And more so when they compel, by “craftiness and guile” and mostly by force, that everyone on earth must obey the self-serving carnal Will as the Will of God.
Is there a way out of the Cave or Prison?
Of course, there is a way. Every Awakened Soul has been singing loving melodies across the length and breadth of the planet to let those who are sleeping to know there is a serious problem on earth. That everything that we think we know are grave falsehood that is designed to enslave Mankind and to put us in a sheep plantation on earth.
Just listen to the new songs of liberty that are being sung from the Alternative Media on the Internet. Allow your instinctive sense of curiosity to exercise its natural tendency. Curiosity has the potential power to reignite the neglected desire of observation and learning afresh every gamut of knowledge that you think you know and understand.
In no time the debris of obnoxious miseducation called knowledge that were deliberately fed and offloaded into the human mind shall be cleared out. Then each seeker of truth can surely begin to feel the sprouting of the shoot of a brand new mind growing within. And when it is fully grown to maturity, the patient Soul will move in to take over and to repossess the physical body as the new divine driver and manager of one’s life.
Chapter 6
The Daily Bread
Give us our daily bread of spiritual consciousness
In the re-presented prayer we have expanded “Give us our daily bread” to “Give us our daily bread of spiritual consciousness” Why is that so?
It is important to remember that the Teacher of Galilee, who is credited with the Lord’s Prayer, in all his teachings and interactions with the people was more concerned about their spiritual wellbeing; about the heavenly things: kingdom of God; and about how the people can be set free or how they can regain their freedom from the theological aristocratic class and their draconian ideologies/laws. This is my personal interpretation or my reading of the Teacher’s work.
However, most of the teachings that got to us in the present age have since been reduced to the satisfaction of base physical needs only. One cannot but wonder that the guy who advised that if your eyes are leading you into spiritual problem, plug it out; or if it is your hand, cut it off, but to find that of all the important messages he taught, it is the miracle of feeding the masses with two fish and five loaves; and of healing few physically blind, deaf, dumb and crippled that are prominently highlighted by Preachers whose specialities are miracle and prosperity. But the core message of his teaching aimed at healing the spiritually blind, deaf, dumb and crippled are totally forgotten or reduced/sidelined to a mere addendum.
It is therefore not surprising that when we say this part of the Lord’s Prayer, the mind that has been made poor and is perpetually hungry for physical food because the Lords of the world have confiscated all the available means of production, cannot reason above their basic immediate need. The lords of the manor have hoarded the people’s bread under different guises. The people could do nothing else beyond pleading to God to physically supply their daily table bread. But by a sleight of the hand, the God presented to the mass of the people is indeed the lord of the manors who are the kings, barons, dukes, and chiefs.
Let us digress a little, and ask, how did this prayer got titled as, The Lord’s Prayer? We must note that the Roman Catholic Church version of the prayer is called, “The Our Father Prayer”. The Anglican Church version is from the “authorized” English translation of the “Holy Bible” produced by the committee set up by King James I of England between 1604-1611. The word Lord found all over this book, is hitherto, a common honorific title for the Nobles of England.
The common people of England, who were encouraged/forced by the various Lords of the Manors or Estates to attend church services in the chapel built by their lord/master on his large estate, would invariably think that when they come to this portion of the prayer in the Sunday Service, they were addressing their prayer to the lord of the manor.
Through the deliberately named title: The Lord’s Prayer, the lord of the Manor reinforces his ‘divine right’ as the giver of daily bread to his serfs, and seamlessly claims his inherited right to lord it over them as well. This is an example of the institutional and psychological control system established over the people so as to make them remain as the eternal subjects of their earthly masters (Lords) and rulers of the land.
Up till today, the lawyers or the Queen counsels in the Royal Courts of England address the magistrates and judges as “My Lord” and we have a House of Lords as the upper chamber in the British Parliament. Through all these institutional and cultural means propped up by theological mumbo-jumbo from the pulpits paid for by the kings and nobles, the common folks with limited understanding of their political rights, are psychologically brainwashed to pray to their masters for daily bread and survival. With a subtle engineering of words, the chain of servitude is sealed forever because the mind was fooled to imbibe and to believe in a naked lie.
So, when the modern-day religionists say the Lord’s Prayer today, they must be reminded about the history behind the title and urge them to understand that whatever the Teacher of Galilee tried to teach on spirituality has since been corrupted into a prayer for search for mere material bread and butter.
The question is, why should mankind be begging and pleading for food incessantly in prayer? Before mankind was ever created, the garden of food and plenty flowing with milk and honey was the first task undertaken by the forces/spirits/power/nature/gods that formed us. Everything on this planet is synchronised together to maintain a perpetual existence through the interdependency and interconnectivity of all created beings.
Why should humanity at this juncture, with all the great developments in science and technology, still have to beg and plead for food, and on a daily basis for that matter?
Physical and Spiritual Consciousness
Physical consciousness has taken up all of our time and energy. Nothing at all remains for the nurturing and satisfaction of our spiritual well-being. The kingdom of the Chosen Ones is working us all to death literally and we are left with no time for the spiritual quest. Right from kindergarten we are nurtured to study well and work hard on the books chosen for us so that we can get into the “Ivy League” colleges (every country has its own form of Ivy league schools) in order to secure a lucrative position of power in the kingdom’s hierarchy. The goal of education set down by the Powers That Be, is to make each of us a truly soulless machine.
This human machine is consciously programmed and deliberately made to be perpetually concerned about daily bread and nothing beyond it. The knowledge about our spiritual being has been purposely suppressed. When it is not suppressed, we are offered a corrupted and dumb down religiosity that has no meaning to the psyche of man.
Looking around the world, we seem to hear so much noise about religion but godlessness abounds in all spheres of life.
Brothers are being set against brothers because of differences in politically motivated religious ideologies. You hear one brother say to another, “I am a Christian and so my religion is the only way to heaven”. Another brother will reply, “I am a Muslim and Islam is the only true message and it is the last religion for mankind”. And another brother will look at these two contenders and say to them, “Both of you have counterfeited my holy religion that was given to Abraham, my ancestral father. Therefore, both of you are blasphemers”.
We can see from the above that by a clever but cruel human design, the world stage is already set for perpetual religious and sectarian wars. Can any of these holy claimants, though with supportive holy books allegedly recorded as dictated by the mouth of god, be right?
Diplomatically speaking, I don’t know. But the Teacher of Galilee, whose words and teaching my soul has found very nourishing says something like, “By their fruits you shall know them” (Matthew 7:20). And that is all we can go by, the fruits these claimants of truth are bearing. To know their fruits, any curious person must have to revisit the history of mankind with a keener eye of objectivity. We have to ask basic questions as we try to find what history books can tell us.
We ask, since the advent of the development of the Middle East political ideology of the God concept in the world, what has been its impact on world peace? Have the well being of mankind been enhanced or jeopardised, wherever any of the variant ideologies have taken root?
The “awe and shock” answers we shall discover will confirm the truth of the matter without any iota of doubt. So friends and family, take out your history books and do some basic research.
Therefore, for all sincere seekers of the truth of life, in asking you to pray/meditate for a daily bread of spiritual consciousness, we are trying to reposition these laudable and inspirational words of The Lord’s Prayer to where they properly belong. They should be taken as tools for meditation towards spiritual growth and development. Our mode of prayer/meditation has to change away from begging to make a claim for what is rightfully ours when we understand what spirituality means.
Simply put, spiritual consciousness is the knowledge or instinctive awareness that one is a spiritual being and keeping the remembrance of this special identity alive in one’s mind at all times. Also, it is the habit of always keeping in mind the awareness that one is one part physical and two parts spiritual; and that individually, we live in God and God lives in each of us and together, man and God are one. This is a tremendous piece of spiritual knowledge. When the mind of mankind is able to grasp this knowledge, process it, understand it and imbibe it to the point where it is made the foundation stone on which all life’s ambitions, aspirations and plans are laid, it is the superlative of kingdom of God descending to earth. It is like saying that the kingdom of heaven has come down to earth indeed.
Spiritual consciousness is the practical awareness that everything both living and non-living is composed of the same physical material substances (metallic and non-metallic) and of same spiritual but non-material substances (mind and soul). However, from personal observations and researches of various formulated speculations by awakened souls, it seems only mankind is able to grow and develop the mind to a great level of depth and breadth while all other living things rely solely on instincts.
Unfortunately, a large proportion of mankind have never grown beyond the level of instincts and this basic natural gift has been taken off them as well by the elaborate but spiritually empty educational and religious knowledge that pervades the world. The understanding that flows from the above propositions that man and god are one, gives credence to the theory of equality of life; and this is the principle that supports or teaches us to respect all forms of life regardless of form, size, age, sex, colour or alleged superior pedigree and lineage.
When we meditate, that is, allow our minds to focus, on this portion of the Lord’s Prayer, it is for the purpose of raising our horizons higher than the physical level of existence. It is the gateway to the spiritual side of our nature where life is truly real. The ever-changing physicality of life gives us a make-believe sense of reality but experience of birth and death has shown that it is indeed very temporal. The physical body is like smoke that appears for a few minutes and disappears soon after to be seen no more. The only thing that is real about our life is the Soul Being. Even the mind that is being fought over, for the purpose of domination and control by the powers-that-be of this world, is also of a temporary nature like the body that manufactures it into being. It dies with the body.
The overlords of the kingdom of man understand the power and strength of words to heal or to kill. Truthful words have positive power to quicken the soul into life while untruthful words have the negative power to keep our minds perpetually sedated. In this respect, the daily Press of the mass media have become a weapon of mass deception and mass control. This is what G K Chesterton called, “that very synthetic substitute for daily bread”. It is a daily bread that gives no nourishment to the mind. Rather, it is sending souls into deeper slumber.
A host of materials in the purported holy books have the same effect on souls because they are “synthetic substitutes for daily bread”. They are untruthful words about the nature of the creator that was coupled together by men with diabolical intentions. They are like closely and intricately entwined chains made solely for the mind enslavement. They are designed to send our souls back into deeper sleep not to awaken us.
This is the situation of the world where Up is now called Down and Down is labelled as Up. It is surely an Upside-Down world. The solution is to seek knowledge eclectically. We have to relearn and to understand the gentle voice of our instincts. It is a better guide if we desire to unravel the truth of our world.
We must allow our instincts to spur us into action. We must wholeheartedly seek the spirit of discernment so that we can unravel the lies being spurned no matter how beautifully they are packaged by the diverse snake-oil doctors and salespeople.
Hence, when we begin to meditate daily for spiritual consciousness, it shows that we have stepped up our game into the true reality of existence. It is the sign that we are now ready and eager to depart from the world of illusion, which the illusionists of our world have created for the enslavement of minds in order to prevent the emergence or the rebirth of souls.
The main goal of the soul on planet earth, after accomplishing its self ordained set objectives, is to go back home and to unite with the One, the creator. The whole idea of planet earth was conceived as a holiday resort for souls to know and to experience their capabilities when they are temporarily separated from the Creator.
Like any holiday we undertake on earth to exotic places, we still have a desire to go back home no matter how pleasant and enjoyable our holiday resort is. This is the riddle of our existence as a soul being that is eternally struggling with everything it has to wake up so that it can begin to do what is right for self and for life in general before returning home.
Chapter 7
Forgiveness
“Forgive us our errors as we forgive the errors of our neighbours, friends and family.”
In the Re-Presented Lord’s Prayer, we have suggested the rewording of “And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors” to “Forgive us our errors as we forgive the errors of our neighbours, friends and family.”
The reason for this change has to do with the fact that this portion of the prayer has many versions of translation: Forgive us our sins/trespasses/debts/wrongs.
When we check on the meaning of what sin or trespass or debt or wrong is, we found the words are not synonyms in any sense but they did convey completely different meanings. And of course, the various interpretations seem to take care of the interest of the priests (sins), of the interest of landowners (trespasses), of the interest of moneylenders (debts) and of the interest of common folks (wrongs).
This is one of the examples that prove the exception to the theory of inerrancy of biblical texts. No matter what the theologians say, the biblical texts are still the products of fallible mankind. It doesn’t matter if a particular text in question is inspired by the holy spirit or the unholy spirit.
From the beginning of this discourse, we have tried to correct some of the common-sense identifiable misconceptions of the God principle. We have tried to show that God is not outside of its creation but God is part and parcel of the created things and beings. That God is not only located in ‘heaven’ but God is everywhere and God is resident inside and outside of everything in life – both the visible and the invisible. And that when we imagine God as a father and use the pronoun He/Him, it is the first derailment of a divine line of thought into a juvenile profanity.
The adoption of false God Concepts surely lead us to begin to forward our prayers and pleadings to a god that is outside of ourselves; to an imaginary god that sits on a super impressive or extraordinary golden throne in heaven; and to a god to which mortal mankind must compete keenly for its favour in order to secure the holy rewards to sit by its right side in heaven. This is the rewards that the ‘faithfuls worshippers’ expect to receive for their many years of labour in the god’s vineyard, saving souls of sinners from going to hell fire.
The first sign that religiosity has taken root in a person’s life can be placed to the moment when the use of common sense is turned off completely. This is when a believer of any persuasion (science, philosophy or religion) stopped to utilise the five senses for observation; began to doubt the observations made by his/her endowed natural faculties; allowed sweet talking ‘men of the cloth’ or ‘men in white coat’ to turn reason and rationality upside down; and when a hitherto intelligent person is now totally bereft of both the ability and courage to challenge obvious absurdities when he or she is been hypnotically spoon-fed or force-fed with gibberish.
It is still very important to dissociate the Teacher of Galilee from the various perversions going on in the world under his ’name’. In my simple understanding, the Teacher of Galilee has nothing in common with the multinational and corporate mega institutions that have taken over the world under the genre of Christian Religion. This assertion will be too difficult to swallow by the throng of believers who are ready to lay down their lives for a lie. But we have to make this observation for the sake of sanity and freedom in the world.
However, this part of the Lord’s Prayer on forgiveness is the core of the Teacher’s teaching and it is a precious gift to the world. The art and the spirit of forgiveness is the central pillar of a spiritual life. This fundamental teaching of forgiving each other’s error is diametrically opposed to the hateful mythology, philosophy and practices of the prevailing religions found in the land of Palestine to which the teacher devoted his life to demystify.
Any serious student of Life Science that is led by the spirit of truth cannot but wonder, what does the teaching of the teacher of Galilee has in common with Judaism?
How is it possible that a New Testament supposedly written to proclaim a new gospel of love, forgiveness, truth and freedom got attached, cheek by jowl, to a totally contradictory Testament of hate, revenge, envy and slavery?
Be that as it were, the Lord’s Prayer has recommended a new principle of existence based on forgiveness. It emphasises that mankind should meditate on the important subject of forgiving the errors of neighbours, friends and families when they do wrong things to us.
Through this, the teacher taught a new philosophy of life that vigorously opposed the hitherto philosophy of the godless priests of the Middle East. The prayer introduced mankind to a loving fatherly God, quite different in conception to the fearful monster in vogue. The Teacher taught his listeners to embrace god-loving as a virtue and to reject the popular notion of god-fearing, which is definitely unhealthy for the cultivation of divine minds and for the rebirth of human souls.
With his teaching on forgiveness, the Teacher seems to have distanced himself from the doctrine of hell fire where sinners/offenders are supposed to burn in hell eternally.
This new position can be inferred from what he told Peter who inquired, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” The teacher replied, “No, not seven times, but seventy times seven!” This is another way of saying, one should forgive neighbours, friends and family indefinitely: ad infinitum.
If a petty machinelike man built of flesh and blood, that is still spiritually blind, deaf, dumb and crippled is being advised never to hold grudges and to settle quarrel before approaching god in prayer, it is unconscionable to expect the creator of life, the ‘father’ of all creations to do otherwise. This perspective of forgiveness should help us towards the clearing out of some of the fear-laden indoctrinations that were programmed into our minds. The superstitious garbage of “fearing the wrath of gods” planted in our minds from childhood are intended to weigh us down from emerging as a truly spiritual being.
A lot of the fear-mongering doctrines propagated by various religious institutions from the Middle East are covert weapons of mass enslavement. Fear is at the base of all man-made weapons that were designed for establishing the Kingdom of Man on earth and for safeguarding the ruler-ship of power-loving, covetous men over other mankind.
It is therefore important for all seekers after the Truth of Life to begin to see all the doctrines of fear, that mankind have been saddled with, for what they are. They are definitely not the dictate or mandatory imposition from any supernatural beings to save us from eternal damnation but they are the creation of power-loving megalomaniacal psychopaths who love to feed on gullible humanity.
But we need to mention that to forgive each other’s errors is practically impossible without the involvement of the Soul being. It is only the Soul that has the capacity to achieve an ego-free existence. A full-blooded person who is ridden with egoistic problems that manifest as the seven identified vices (pride, envy, greed, anger, lust, gluttony and sloth) cannot rise above the dictates of the undisciplined physical body.
The irrational demands of the very weak human body are what lead humanity into grave errors of judgment against fellow mankind. This is the reason why the spiritual work to set the Soul free must begin in the mind. Using the sense organs for what they were designed for — as tools of sensory perception of the material environment — mankind can cultivate and plant into the splendidly fertile minds, high-yielding seeds of the truth and knowledge of life. Give it a try, please.
The result of the knowledge of truth on the mind is similar to what happens when the male and female eggs of living things come together in a reproductive union. The organisms do not have to do anything else after mating. The fertilised egg will develop naturally on its own without any direct conscious involvement of the male or female organism.
This is as well true of the mind. Set the mind on a goal of self-discovery after opening all the shutters of the senses to allow the unfettered rays of sunshine of true knowledge to enter the brain and you will surely be amazed with the result. Your mind will indeed become pregnant with ideas and the bouncing baby of freedom that shall be delivered will be nothing less than a soul reborn.
It is only a soul reborn through generous exposure of the mind to diverse knowledge of the truth of life that can truly forgive the errors of neighbours, friends and family. A superficial understanding of this truth is the only premise under which a supposedly ‘Christian country’ can raise armies of professional killers of fellow mankind to visit bloody vengeance and atrocious vendetta over all the people or countries they judged as enemies in the world.
Such warlike activities between and within nations are blatant corruption of the truth of divine gift of redemption through forgiveness that the Teacher of Galilee taught the world.
Chapter 8
Temptation
“Lead us not into temptation…”
The section of the Lord’s Prayer that says, “Lead us not into temptation…” is a prayer that cannot fail to agitate or perplex all thinking minds. The why question must surely arise. Why would the creator of life (aka Our Father in Heaven) be in the business of leading its creations into temptation?
Does it mean there are beings in our dimension created for the purpose of leading other created beings to have a desire to do evil deeds? If there are, what are the fundamental purposes of these forces or beings that manufacture evil and induce or seduce humanity to partake in it? Why would a loving ‘father’ tempt ‘his’ sons/daughters or allow them to be tempted with thoughts or deeds, which will endanger their physical or spiritual well being? What kind of father will do anything either in the physical realm or the spiritual realm to injure or disturb the natural harmony of the life of his children?
Let us put on our thinking cap and utilise our natural common sense as we discourse the meaning of the concept of temptation. Temptation in popular usage is defined as a “desire to do something, especially something wrong”. From the theological perspective, temptation “is act of enticing someone to sin”.
In the Middle Eastern religious tradition, every desire a person has is supposedly induced from outside by malevolent beings or spirits. It therefore seems that this section of the Lord’s Prayer is seeking the assistance of the gods to prevent us from following the natural or the unnatural desires to do something wrong.
We can assume that a desire, which is put in our mind by the devil (‘the tempter’), can be called unnatural. Anyone who has opened the ‘holy bible’ will be aware that right from the first book, there are found stories of either the gods or devil tempting mankind. Examples abound, such as, devil tempting Eve in the garden of Eden; God tempting Abraham to sacrifice or butcher a son; devil tempting Job with the permission of God; Satan in the temptation of Christ in the desert, etc.
In this discourse, we shall try to align with the common sense perspective as we look at temptation. The desire to do or not to do something is a function of the mind. Temptation starts its journey from our senses of perception. It is what we see, hear, smell, taste, and feel that lead us to act or not to act. Our desires are stimulated by how our minds interpret the sensations received by the senses.
If the above is true, then we must remind ourselves about the body-mind-soul complex of mankind that we mentioned in Chapter 5. The body is an intricate structure, which we need to know intimately. It is the closest material possession we have and yet many of us haven’t got the foggiest idea about how it is structured anatomically and how it functions physiologically and psychologically. Let us do a bit of digest study using a short story.
The Mysterious Kingdom
There is a kingdom that contained roughly about 50-75 trillion citizens. The citizens of this kingdom have variable lifespan ranging from few days, few weeks, few months and to the life of the kingdom. The kingdom is divided into 78 countries/counties. It has no particular king since anyone of the citizens can be a king at any time. By a natural design, one of the countries acts as a control centre.
The 78 countries with its 50-75 trillion citizens live together in relative peace and harmony. Each country is self-sufficient with a particular processing or manufacturing plant for the production of the planetary needs. Each country and her citizens have specific and special role to play in the upkeep of this kingdom. The citizens perform their duties without any compulsion. Each country is independent in function but cooperate voluntarily with other countries to share common needs and services and for the maintenance of the planetary life.
You must be wondering if this is a mythical kingdom concocted out of my imagination. This kingdom is real; it is the human body.
Our body consists of 50 – 75 trillion conscious cells grouped together into 78 major and minor organic systems. The brain is the master organ and the control centre; while other major organs are: heart for pumping blood, kidney for filtration and purifier of blood, lungs for respiration, liver for detoxification of poisonous substances, etc. All the organs work simultaneously and in unison but in an emergency any of the cells or organs in more serious need could have preferential or pre-eminent attention. In other words, any of the sense organs can command and dominate the affairs of the body for a moment or a longer period of time.
We have gone to this extent to enable us understand how the composition of human body relates to temptation. Since each cell or a group of cells have the capacity to seize power and influence the direction or actions of the whole body, there is bound to be a kind of power tussle between the over 50 trillion cells in the body to gain attention, power and control. It is apparent that a cell or a particular group of cells is not in a position to understand the larger picture of the body and the social and physical environment that impinge on it. Hence, its demands, even though it might be a normal and natural demand, can sometimes run counter to the overall interest of the body.
The brain, which is the central control system of the body, does not censor; it reacts and gives the appropriate response to the electrical demands forwarded to it by any cell or group of cells as per the natural design and programme. The brain has no ethical or moral sense to judge the right or wrong of the sensory demands of the organs. The computer is a man-made replica of the brain that functions solely on the basis of the programme written for it. The brain functions like a programmed electrical tool that responds to incoming signal of pain or pleasure mechanically. It is programmed to avoid pain and programmed to desire pleasure. Anything else in between is lottery, a game of chance.
Looking at this design, there is a need for proper check and balance if mankind desires to live in social and mutual harmony with each other. Society must define and regulate rights and wrongs for peace to reign. If each cell or a group of cells that has limited social consciousness is allowed to dictate the affairs of the body, no society can emerge or survive for long if it emerged.
Origin of Moral Principles
It becomes the duty of the very few conscious Homo sapiens that have the wherewithal in brain capacity to think about life generally and to design appropriate principles and institutions for the society based on their interpretation of what life means. By using the intellectual power of a self-developed mind, thinkers set and map out personal and social boundaries for morality on wrongs and rights. It is on the basis of these socially defined ethics and morals that each person can self-assess or be assessed by others as to what constitute right or wrong behaviours or actions in a particular society.
Unfortunately for mankind, a host of the moral obligations set down for the guidance of societies have been couched by the followers of these ancient thinkers as direct dictations from the Almighty (father in heaven). Such heavenly dictated moral principles always end up in the protective custody and under the administration of princes of religion – priests, imam, rabbi and gurus. As a result and regardless of the stage of mental and scientific progress of mankind, these age-long (sometimes archaic) principles would henceforth be written in stones (holy books). It will no longer brook a rethink, or adjustment or rework.
This is where we need to address the role of the mind as a check and balance to regulate the moral imperatives of the demands of our body in general. A properly cultivated mind is able to hold in check the waywardness of some cells/organs to some extent. However, an uncultivated mind is at the mercy of various egregious cells/organs that are likely to lead the body into a precarious end. A well-grounded mind is an interim solution to temptations.
In other words, what lead mankind into temptation are the various body cells and organs that are vying for total control of the human body at a particular point in time. A thorough knowledge of self and the world in which the human body lives is the antidote or girdle that can restraint the unguarded impetus of the human body parts.
The knowledge of how the body works based on the science of biology and psychology is the secret behind the successes of the art of salesmanship and marketing techniques. Using the open windows of our sense organs, sales and marketing gurus are able to TEMPT us into buying anything, both the needed and the useless. The department stores make use of special incense/perfumes to stimulate and attract the olfactory organs; spectacular arrangement of colours for the organ of vision; carefully selected sensuous music for the auditory organ; and soft psychedelic lighting to stimulate a cool and sensual feeling. With all these ‘psychobiology’ artefacts in place, clever entrepreneurs will definitely be smiling to the bank since the inflow of tempted customers who are ready to ‘willingly’ part with their money will never stop coming into the store.
Mind Cultivation and Soul Awakening
The personal effort placed into the seeking and searching for knowledge is solely for the purpose of cultivating the mind and of nurturing it so as to grow into a sturdy resilient memory bank or mental resource library. A properly cultivated mind is imbued with a strong foundation and reinforced pillars for the construction of a palace fit for a king.
A mind built with loving-kindness and careful attention to details of selected educational materials in the search for truth will become like a furnace-structure that can withstand the firing power and heat of an awakened soul. An awakened soul is a generator of spiritual fire and light. The burning fire of truth in a weak mind has the capacity to cause structural damage to the physical/mental body.
However, the ultimate solution to overcoming temptation is found in the awakened soul. The message of the Teacher of Galilee that says, “Ye must be born again” is about the attainment of a spiritual state of being. This spiritual state is achievable through personal effort and devotion to the onerous task of knowing and understanding oneself.
The Teacher reinforced this admonition by urging his listeners to “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened” (Mathew 7: 7-8).
This important admonition has often attracted diverse interpretations particularly, interpretation that relates to securing “Daily Bread” or material prosperity.
However, for our discourse we shall rely wholly on interpretation that asks, seeks and knocks on the door of spiritual prosperity and freedom. It is in the knowledge of the truth of self that the true meaning of life can be revealed. The true knowledge of self has a good chance of activating the soul into active service to manage the exuberances of both the Body and the Mind.
Essentially, all the efforts made to cultivate and to build the mind pay off eventually, as the mind becomes a beacon sending spiritual signals to invite the soul to come and take its natural place in one’s life. A properly cultivated Mind is the palace or kingdom of heaven where the awakened soul dwells as its true king. The Soul, as the third component of the Body-Mind-Soul Complex and sometimes linked to wisdom is expected to be the occupier of a well-built mind and to make the mind its permanent place of abode.
A quick analogy will draw this lesson home clearly. Watching the courtship scenarios of birds in the wild in David Attenborough’s Planet Earth (TV) series, we see the effort made by male birds to build and adorn a nest that will be beautiful and gorgeous enough to attract a female bird. A female bird attracted by the sing-song of the male comes along, takes a look at the nest and if it is not good enough for her taste, she skids off quietly to inspect the nest of other suitors nearby.
This scenario is similar to that of the Soul that is forever courting mankind for attention, visitation and residence. The only place worthy for it to stay in our Body is in the Mind. As we said earlier, the Mind is in the hands of mankind to make and unmake.
Among the three properties of the Body-Mind-Soul complex, the Mind is the only part that depends on our passionate effort for existence. A host of humanity passes through planet earth without making effort to build their Mind to a level above the instinct and so they lose out on the fellowship of the Soul. The Soul, by its peculiar nature and as a perfectionist, cannot reside in a poorly constructed or ramshackle Mind.
The Creator of Life and Temptation
Let us go back to the question we asked above, “Why would the creator of life (aka Our Father in Heaven) be in the business of leading its creations into temptation?” The answer should be a capital NO. A little knowledge of biology, as we have described, has shown what leads mankind into temptation. The body follows a kind of “republican principle”, where every cell/organ is free to pursue its own interest as long as it does not injure or disturb the well being of its neighbours.
Since each cell or organ has not got the full knowledge of the conception of the larger picture of human existence, it sometimes makes understandable error, which might translate into the breaking of a particular taboo (SIN) of the larger societies outside of the body.
Such natural mistakes of omission or commission would be very minimal in a person with a cultivated mind. The cultivated mind must have learnt or programmed itself to operate under a rationality principle that depends wholly on facts or reason before action. This is the state of being that The Powers That Be or the Controllers of our world are daily working hard to prevent humanity from attaining. The deliberate corruption of educational curriculum that dumb down the pursuit of knowledge to a narrow specific end of acquiring ‘clever’ work skill for the pre-eminent goal of securing prestigious and lucrative job in the labour market and eventually raking in loads of money is the greatest cause of the downfall of our specie as a spiritual being.
This leads us directly to another question we asked in the second paragraph, “Does it mean there are beings in our dimension created for the purpose of leading other created beings to have a desire to do evil deeds?”
Chapter 9
Deliver Us From Evil
“Give us wisdom to guide us through temptations”
In the original prayer it is stated, “Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.” In the Re-presented prayer, we wrote: “Give us wisdom to guide us through temptations”. We have examined the first part of the sentence that says, “Lead us not into temptation” in Chapter 8.
In that Chapter, when we looked at Temptation, we discovered that all the elements that lead mankind into temptation are contained within our Body. We argued that if we can allow our sense organs to operate unhindered by tradition, culture, beliefs, religion or religiosity, it will gather sufficient materials on which to cultivate or build up the Mind; that a powerfully built Mind, operating at maximum capacity, will become a palace and the resident of choice for the Soul. We submitted that a Soul in residence would take absolute control of the workings of both the automaton-like Body and the cultivated dynamic Mind.
The Body that has been having problem in harmonising the various activities of all the 50+ trillion conscious cells will become a perfectly well tuned machine/vehicle of locomotion for the Soul, who, as a competent pilot, will make use of the Mind as its control cubicle. With the Soul comfortably in charge of piloting the affairs of the body, the burning fire of temptation or the desire to do evil present in the body is extinguished. If not completely, but it will henceforth be put under the control of reason and the dominion of Wisdom.
At this juncture in the life of an awakened person, excellence in thought and perfection in deeds are achieved, as it were, effortlessly. The awakened ones know that the main attribute of the Soul is wisdom and the effectiveness of the Soul comes from the divine and eternal link it enjoys with the universal Wisdom – Nature, the Creator, The Source, The One and Life (aka God). The Soul has a unique opportunity of an open and unrestricted access to the universal intelligence and library, what Edgar Cayce called Akashic Records or The Book of Life.
Godliness and Spirituality
Mankind can attain godliness, which is the highest ideal of our imagination, through a living and awakened Soul. The dialectics of good and evil is the verbal technicalities or word gymnastics we engaged in to help humanity understand the meaning of life. It is sometimes called philosophising, that is the process of searching and seeking for appropriate words with which to express the inexpressible spiritual matters. Philosophy is simply a tool of logic that helps to convey our inner thoughts and speculations of the interpretations we have made of all the observable physical manifestations of Nature (God) and their probable meaning to the question of life.
Every person itching and stirring to awake must do a lot of introspection, reflection and meditation on the meaning of all things. Each of us is free to borrow from ancient or contemporary thinkers but the materials borrowed must be chewed up, digested and assimilated before it can be understood and useful to the Mind. Every piece of knowledge borrowed or discovered afresh becomes a template and a building block for the construction of a sound Mind. A cultivated Mind in turn becomes a creative being or in short, a small creator. This is the natural trend that we see all around us, Nature begetting Nature and God begetting God. Don’t be squeamish about what you are reading. It is simply stating the truth of existence.
Godliness is that state of being when a person knows (not believes) that he/she is one with Life, Nature, The Source, The Creator, The One and The God with capital G. It is the state when an awakened person no longer sees or perceives differences between self and the universe of other selves. It is the point when there is no longer a separation but only completeness and wholesomeness. It is the point when we can begin to understand there is nothing good or bad because everything in life is now seen, known and understood to be working together as one unified Body.
Deliverance From Evil
Let us not forget, we are looking at the phrase “deliver us from evil”. We are eager to know, who is going to deliver us from evil? Although the prayer is to our father in heaven but in earlier elucidation we have concluded that The Creator of life, which is called father in the prayer, is everywhere and is in everything. We have suggested a mantra in Note I to aid our focus when we engage in spiritual meditation. The Mantra says, “I exist in God and God exist in me. Therefore, God and I are one”. Knowing that each of us is one with God or Nature or The source or The Creator is a very big leap from the fearful, downtrodden, penitent, abused and used article of no worthwhile value to be discarded by the abuser when no longer useable. This is how the Powers That Be (The Abusers) of our world see the mass of humankind that they often derogatorily call “the mere eaters of bread”.
Let us recall the allegorical story of the Prodigal Son as told by the Teacher of Galilee. The prodigal son lost his mind for a season and forgot who he was. In his unconscious state, he chose to separate himself from his home, to live the life of the spendthrift and afterwards (which he didn’t plan for) tasted the life of a wretched, poor scavenger. When the needed and necessary experience of both the good life and the bad life was completed, he came into awareness of who he was and remembered the kind of wealth his father possessed.
Fortunately, there was no longer pride or ego in him because that was the only vice that could stand between him and repentance that leads to a full redemption. The prodigal son went back home as a sober, humble and reborn person. The story said, his father on seeing him rejoiced with celebration as he was welcomed back into the home where he belonged unconditionally.
The story is worth further reflection in this discourse. Please note, the prodigal son did not see any soothsayer, or a witch doctor or a shaman or a General Overseer, or a Super Evangelist, or a Grand Imam or a Muslim Scholar or a Guru or a Rabbi. He sat down to consider his pathetic situation and after a serious review, meditation and self-analysis of his unpalatable condition, he had the eureka moment. The awareness dawned on him powerfully and convincingly that must made him to acknowledge, “I am a Fool”.
The awareness of the perilous state of one’s physical and spiritual life, is all that it takes to set out on the path to freedom. It is the moment when each of us come to a truthful knowledge of who we are and of truly knowing oneself as a divine being.
Today, when we say, to most people wearing fine, gorgeous apparel with all the bling-bling of a superficial materialistic success and high-sounding, self-promoting titles to their names, “dear friend, do you know that you are a slave of a hideous political and economic system?”
“No, I am not” he would reply with arrogance, “you do not know who you are talking to. I am this or I am that”.
Dear Friend, “Know Thy Self” is the first step towards spiritual freedom and spiritual prosperity.
A Word on the Devil
The devil, we are told by the theologians is the owner of a factory where all kinds of evil products are manufactured and dispersed to the four corners of the earth. Devil is a word and it is a conceptual symbol. Like every word or symbol, the meaning changes with context or circumstances.
In the context of our discourse, at one point in time or another, the devil could be you, your neighbour, your friend, your family and even the writer. Because when we look at all the attributes attached to the devil – the accuser, the seducer and the tempter – these are all the attributes found in every mankind.
For example, when a person desires to subjugate one’s neighbour, friends or family to one’s personal will, the target is seduced with sweet words; or is blackmailed with material rewards for enticement; or is violently threatened with slander or death, etc . Can we not see or can we not infer from our lives that the devil is not out there in the fairyland but it is resident within each of us and within those in our neighbourhoods?
The truth is, each of us has what it takes to become a full-fledged devil. The spirit of evil or the devil is within each of us just as the spirit of good or god is equally resident within us. Spirituality or the development towards godliness is the process of harnessing or of blending these two opposite forces into one formidable entity. It is the spiritual work of finding the balance, the state of equilibrium or harmony or the mean when the positive and the negative energies can join forces together to become One. It is similar to the process of formation of all living organisms, where the masculine and the feminine forces/energies come together and combine to produce a new life.
This is why the great work ahead of those of us desiring to wake up is, to seek to know at a fundamental level what makes you or qualifies you to be called a living person. We have said you need to start your learning by first knowing the composition of your physical body. We carry this Body around 24/7 yet we do not know what is contained therein intimately. We adorned its outside with fine clothes and expensive jewellery, yet we have no clue as regards what lie beneath. We breathe, we eat, we drink, we digest, we urinate, we fart and we defecate, still we have no figment of understanding how all the complex organs within us work. Thereby, causing the ignorance of the mechanism of our physical body to lead us into a lot of self-abusing habits of the Body and the ensuing health complications and consequences of “dis-ease” – discomfort, imbalance, disharmony etc., both physically and spiritually.
Imagine the heavy price we are paying for ignorance at the physical level. Since we don’t even know we are more of a spirit being than the minor visible physical component, it will be share waste of time to call attention to this most important aspect of our lives.
However, the lesson of the visible physical being when properly learned and understood will naturally lead to the appreciation of the spiritual self – the real component and the core essence of our being. When each of us discovers the spiritual self in all its glory, we can safely say the goal of spirituality is achieved. This is the true quest of life that can transfigure each of us into Overcomer and true Success. In fact, this is what we call a spiritual breakthrough that translate into spiritual prosperity.
Wisdom is The Answer
Hence, when we say, “Give us wisdom to guide us through temptation” we are acknowledging that temptation is natural and relevant to our spiritual growth and development. It is like the case of a student who detests examination with passion. How would the teacher know if he/she has learnt anything worthwhile throughout the term or semester or year?
Temptation is a form of examination and it is an essential part of life. It is necessary to self-test or self-examine how well each of us is doing in the great journey of life. All the learning we do is supposed to be geared towards the acquisition of knowledge that can lead eventually to the gaining of wisdom. The acquisition of wisdom is the testimonial that shows a person is awakened or reborn and it is the confirmation that a Soul has truly been born. It is the certificate of a spiritual accomplishment and of a person who is truly becoming one with God.
You can see why spiritual quest is the only goal worthy of pursuit for anyone desiring to be called awakened or alive. But, Oh No! Each of us has been brainwashed with all kinds of enslaving psychological programming in education, religion and cultures that has given us worthless dross for a golden fleece. Our education that is supposed to educe from us important elements towards becoming “philosopher kings” has turned us into dogmatic slaves of a hellish political and economic system. Our religion that is supposed to lead us to a rebirth in spirit has turned us into a mere unconscious body with a dead or dying soul that sings or chants, at the drop of a coin, misunderstood memorised passages from ‘holy books’ like a talking caged parrot. This is the state of being a large proportion of the human race is consigned.
Food For Thought
Each of us needs to rethink our present position and understanding of being or life in the cosmic realm. The following questions must arise in the minds of all sane persons:
What are we here for on this planet?
Are we here so that a few clever devils can aspire to be called successful in material acquisition, political power, and economic prosperity that inadvertently send the majority of humanity into a hell on earth situation?
How can we carelessly ignore the fact that there is a definite span of time allotted to each of us on this planet and that regardless of your “successful endeavours” and “laudable achievements” you have to drop everything and depart when your call-up time is announced?
Does it occur to most humanity that life might be eternal and that it keeps recurring like a wheel that spins forever?
Have you asked, maybe there are many dimensions of life that we need to pass through before we can emerge into our true potential state as Godlike beings?
Could it be that our stupidity or blatant ignorance of the truth of life is what gets us trapped on planet earth as we found ourselves in a recycling endless time machine, churning us out (aka Reincarnation) ever so often in many uncountable lives?
All the questions asked above are for the wondering and wandering lost souls, who are eager to wake up from their eternal slumber and who are ready, like the prodigal son, to begin the process of preparation of going home to the Source (aka God). These are not questions for the happy-go-lucky, contented and carefree souls, who have already found the answers to all the questions of life in their religions and belief systems.
There is nothing more to add. It is still my desire to see you, dear reader, taking the first tentative step of asking the most important question in your silent meditation (not in the Pharisee-like or Hypocrite-like mode of praying). What is the Truth? Each of us has a lot of work to do to de-programme ourselves from the mountain of lies that have been piled upon us right from the day we were born. Nobody can give or secure for each of us the spiritual freedom or can set us free from the “Slavedom” systems into which we were born and for which we were bred. It is only the effort each can put into seeking truth and knowledge that would set each of us free.
So, dear friend when you hear the great call and the doubts begin to arise in your mind about the filth and the ugliness around you, which you had hitherto called modern civilisation, then you will know it is time to find answer to the question: What Is The Truth? And I can tell you, you will find the answer when you seek, search and ask truthfully, diligently and purposefully like a person on a serious mission of life and death.
Friend and family you will surely find the answer and like the Teacher of Galilee said, “You Will Know The Truth And The Truth Will Set You ou Free”.
Chapter 10
Doxology
Let the power of your love, glory and honour reign forever in our lives.
This is the last chapter of the series on The Lord’s Prayer Re-Presented. We have used the Lord’s Prayer as an entry point, a gateway and a beacon to attract the attention of this generation. In social psychology, there is a theory on Selective Listening/Attention, which states that our ears have a way of picking out and selecting familiar sounds in a stream of contesting noises or cacophony of voices.
We have intended to tickle your attention by using the Lord’s Prayer, which is a popular and familiar prayer to most professing believers of one of the Abrahamic Faiths. We chose the Lord’s Prayer as our gateway for this discourse because almost anyone familiar with any of the Abrahamic religions brewed from the Middle East is accustomed with the culture of prayer and more likely to be attracted to a discourse on prayer.
We noticed there are too many noises on religion and the indoctrination of the poor in spirit to a world of superstitious, bogus and enslaving dogmas is completely foregone. There are too many lies superbly dressed up for the enticement, capture and enslavement of the innocent and the gullible. We have observed the misery and hopelessness of life facing the people of this generation who have been drawn and held captive into believing in the illusion presented by religious rhetoricians. We can see how the captives are fastened and held down by the magic power of lies from high places and from the mouth of those they hold in high regards.
When we wrote In Times Like This and Ungodly Religious Nation about the fallacy, chicanery and deception going on in the name of religion, nobody seems to pay attention because it is a totally unfamiliar territory to a lot of people. To question or to critic “the word of God” from the Holy Bible is unheard of in my part of the world. It is seen as sacrilegious or blasphemous or a heretical undertaking.
How do you tell a 50year-old person that everything he/she knows on religion and about God is based on cooked up lies? How do you tell a person born and bred into a culture of religious life that everything Papa and Mama taught you about the God concept is untruth? Even though parents never set out to deceive their children but because they were also swindled and lacked spiritual discernment they passed down the burden of the deadly deception to their children. Now the children are more catholic than the Pope or their parents. They talk and sing religiously and just like their parents the expected fruit of a truthful spiritual life is missing in their lives.
The universal deception we are talking about started a long time in history. The Teacher of Galilee had hardly left the scene of his earthly mission when the workers of iniquity ganged up to play their usual destructive game. His murder is a minor event compared to the clever distortion of his life changing, revolutionary messages.
The distortion of truth is a simple trick: mix a bit of lies with truth; invert reality upside down; disconnect or confuse the senses of perception; programmed the mind to disbelief what the senses are feeding to it; call black white, and call stone bread etc. The occulted process is principally to utilise all kinds of magical tricks of psychology to confuse and to deceive the mind into accepting blatant unrealistic, unnatural and wholly man-made principles as the truth of human existence.
It is difficult to know where to start to unbundle the package of an intricately built edifice of the religious institutions that were based on a crooked foundation of nothing of truth but on intentionally made up lies and myths. As we said in earlier discourse, this writer was born and bred into a religious culture that holds its ritual of worship very seriously. The writer can easily claim he was once a fundamentalist believer. I am one of those the religious practitioners will call a backslider.
Backsliding is a powerful concept in all the Middle Eastern religions coined to hold on the doubters from bolting away. Indeed it is a ‘miracle’ for anyone brought up in any of the three Abrahamic religions to escape the stranglehold of the faith because the blindfold is supposed to be tightly secured and impenetrable to the light of truth. I did escape and a host of other simple folks, who decided to seek and search for truth with all their hearts, across the world, are also escaping soon after they’ve regained the use of their common sense.
Unfortunately, some of the escapees are turning into reactionaries as they engage themselves in a futile discourse of proofing whether there is God or there is no God. These friends of freedom should be reminded that it is not a question of there is no God but their angst should be directed at resolving the incomprehensible spin and illogical interpretations adduced by apologist of religion when answering the crucial questions on the meaning of life.
It is very difficult to look at any of my family and friends of the faith straight in the eyes and tell them, the “father of lies” has swindled you; and that everything on which they built their religious beliefs and faith is untrue. It gives me no joy to break their hearts but the truth must be told. Truth must be told with much thoughtfulness and carefulness so as not to destroy my friends and family completely to the point where they can no longer pick themselves up.
Hence from time memorial, truth is often released wrapped up in parables or in myth or in allegory and ditched out in piecemeal like when you give medicinal drug to the sick. For example, when a patient requires a 1000gram dose of a particular drug for a cure, the doctor and the pharmacist will advise the nurse to give the patient in a piecemeal of either 5 or 10 or 50 or 100 gram per session or per day. Why? Because to give the full dose at once may likely kill rather than cure the patient.
The objective of this discourse is not to kill but to heal the spiritually blind, deaf, dumb and crippled. We have been careful throughout this discourse not to be flippant. We have stated what we know to be the truth under the present circumstances. The truth we presented was based on verifiable materials of current human experience and recorded historical records.
We observed the political and economic principles, policies and practices of the world, the serious problem of dichotomy of life and the state of human existence between leaders (political, economic and religious) and the subjects or citizens or followers or slaves. We noticed the avowed governing principle of justice, equality and freedom that are never respected or followed and the rivers of injustice, inequality and slavery flowing and swamping the people of the world. We are convinced there is a serious disconnect between the established and acclaimed ethical and moral philosophy of the world and the reality of a godless, ruthless and compassionless world.
These are the concerns that led to the project of calling attention to the deceit in the religious community and the need to point our attention in the direction of an old and effective reality of plain and pure spirituality without any religious dressing or colouration. If the lesson of this discourse is clear and understood, it will be obvious that the hitherto meaning and interpretation we have given to the God Concept and the ensuing religious and political institutions that grew out of this misleading concept would have to be looked at afresh and reviewed completely from the root or foundation.
This fundamental review of interpretation and meaning of God will in turn have drastic impact on the concept and practice of the rituals of prayer. Under this new understanding of the God Concept, the addressee and the address where we post our prayer requests will also be impacted because of our new knowledge of self.
The knowledge that the almighty, the supreme reality exist or live in each of us and that we exist or live in the supreme and the almighty; and that each of us is one with the supreme reality and the almighty is an awesome piece of information of a very deep knowledge. As soon as each of us has a breakthrough in comprehending what this information means, nothing in your life will ever be the same again.
It will be a moment of the greatest WOW! A moment when we can say time stands still. Indeed, a life changing moment when a new chapter of review, deconstruction and reconstruction of every value hitherto held dearly in ones heart will begin. The hopelessness and powerlessness that regularly force each of us to cry to “our father in heaven” in prayer will surely disappear when a person realises the untapped potential energy and power contained within our body/temple where the creator of life resides permanently.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory
The Original Prayer says, “For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever, Amen.” This part of the prayer called doxology (“a short hymn of praises to God in various forms of Christian worship”), is alleged to be an addition by English Bible editors. According to biblical scholars, “the original Gospel of Matthew did not have the doxology. They believe this because the earlier Greek manuscripts don’t have the phrase, and neither do early translations of the text, while there is a clear motivation for adding it in later Greek manuscripts.”
This titbit of information is important and relevant to our expositions that have tried to impress on readers that there is no infallible or inerrant book to the point where any particular book should become a worshipful idol. We will like to reiterate that every book that was ever written and that shall be written is an inspired holy work and therefore must manifest something of and about the creator.
It is therefore a redundant exercise to add “holy” to any book. If we must do, every book should carry the prefix “holy” because all books are talking and singing about THE CREATOR, GOD, NATURE, UNIVERSE, LIFE, MANKIND, etc. Inasmuch as a manuscript is written, compiled and edited into books by the hands and minds of mankind, it is expected to be susceptible to errors, corrections, reviews and revisions.
We have briefly discussed the concept of kingdom in Chapter 4 and our conclusion is that the Teacher of Galilee would have had a totally different concept of kingdom from the notions of kingdom prevalent in his time. Now the doxology says, “For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory”. We have a sneaking suspicion that the translators that added this bit to the prayer in the English Bible are being clever by half. Since King James of England was the promoter and the financier of the translation project, the only kingdom the translators would have had in mind would be the Kingdom of England. Therefore, the power and glory they are praising would have been none other than that of King James.
We know that making this claim is dangerous and could be classified as a high treason or a sacrilege. You will remember that Bible scholars said this bit of the prayer is neither found in the original Greek manuscript of the Gospel of Matthew nor in the Catholic Church version. In my view, it is a superfluous addition intended to serve a political purpose of covertly indoctrinating the king’s subjects to pray for the kingdom, power and glory of their earthly king so he can reign over them for ever and ever.
This is a part of the war on the mind we mentioned earlier that sets barriers and limiters on the mind in order to disallow it from growing beyond the artificial ‘glass ceiling’. With the various psychological limiters, particularly of the religious kind in place, the progression of the human psychic growth in the direction of spirituality is forever sabotaged. We are therefore left with a throng of wailing humanities who cannot see beyond their noses as they mutilate and punish themselves to perform all manners of mind-boggling sacrifices, as prescribed by their self-serving spiritual masters, to appease the destructive power of their angry and avenging gods.
The Power of Love, Glory and Honour
Our view of a kingdom where the power of love, glory and honour shall reign forever in our lives is completely different from what has been made popular by craftiness and guile in the world. This is what we are presenting to our readers, family and friends for their consideration and reflection. Each of us, when fully developed and has evolved to our natural potential through the paradigm of body-mind-soul complex, is a natural king. Such a kingdom where everyone is king and the creator of life is the king of kings will be too difficult to comprehend by those that are not aware of the spiritual nature of our being. A closer study of the operation of the human body is a microcosm that such a kingdom is possible.
Each of us is a natural sovereign king over the kingdom of 50+trillion cells that make up our body. Most humanity have failed to understand the amount of psychic work and power needed to govern, harmoniously, all the 50+trillion conscious cells. The total population of the people on earth is a mere 10 billion and we know the kind of deadly power tussle that goes on among the unconscious mechanical human beings who desire to be king over others. The body with the gigantic number of living and conscious cells needs a wise king to govern them if a person desires to avoid and not fall into temptations or desires to pass the examinations daily set before it by “the tempter”.
For those who have followed the previous discourses closely, you will recall the emphasis we placed on the valuable role of the senses to equip the mind with necessary materials needed for knowledge acquisition; that the acquisition of knowledge is the foundation stone for the building of a spiritually healthy and awakened mind; and that a well-built mind is the eventual citadel of the soul who is the true king in a person’s life. Although, theologians have often conflated the terms mind, spirit and soul and this have confused a lot of believers who throw up these terms without a proper understanding of their meaning. The onus is still on each of us to seek knowledge and understanding of their true meaning.
The real essence of mankind is the immortal Soul. The mortal Body is a vehicle designed for the mobility of the Soul on planet earth. The Body has the capacity and capability to grow and to develop the mind to any level that is required and necessary for the work the soul intends to do on earth. The development of the mind when done properly under the fundamental premises of love, as its abiding cornerstone, will attract the Soul to take its rightful place in a person’s life.
Unless and until the serious work of building or cultivating the mind is done, a person will remain soulless or dead to life. A soulless person can still perform all the mechanical functions of the body but it will lack a godly touch or what is called virtues – divine love, charity, compassion, mercy, forgiveness, humility, contentment etc. These are the godly elements that separate spirituality from religiosity or sacred from profane.
The Powers That Be in our world, the overlords understand the proper role of the Knowledge of Self as the fundamental pillar of a spiritual life. This is the core knowledge championed in all the mystery schools. This is what they teach their acolytes in the secret societies under the so-called occult or hidden knowledge. But to ensure a servile and submissive population of slaves they’ve made this a forbidden knowledge to the general population.
Instead, the people are fed with non-nutritious knowledge that are based on lies in the established schools and non-nourishing preachment of made up “words of men” in the religious institutions. With these two-prong attack that started from the kindergarten, it is only the very few resilience and the strong willed persons that can survive the powerful indoctrination unscathed mentally and psychologically.
When one is truly awakened, the ‘mindcuff’ that the political establishment and the priests of religion have woven around the mind will be broken asunder and the fantastic myths bestowed generously and unceasingly on the faithful subjects and followers will loose its hypnotic effect. The phrase, free at last and free indeed will surely manifest in the life of the truly awakened. It is only the truly awakened Souls that can comprehend the truth and power of freedom, justice and equality. It is only in the lives of the awakened Souls that the power of love, glory and honour of the creator can reign forever.
In a nutshell, the thrust of this discourse is essentially to nudge you in a new direction of valuation of reality. The Powers that Be of our world that do not have our best interests at heart have crafted a lot of assumptions that we hold dearly on the meaning of life and existence. All they wanted of and from us is our absolute obedience to their ungodly control of our world.
Their stranglehold on our lives is unjust, cruel and abusive. Unfortunately, the indoctrination and the webs of lies over the masses have been too successful beyond their wildest imagination. Presently, they are so sure of the efficacy of their deceptive methods and strategies that even if they come out behind the screen to reveal the hidden hands of the puppeteers and the tricksters, the people of the world whose minds have been deliberately locked up in spiritual bondage for many generations would refuse to believe or accept the confession as true.
You just need to listen to the religious ideologues as they passionately propound unverified and unverifiable dogmas with gusto, to appreciate the seriousness of the situation. The palpable, passionate zeal in their voices and the theatrical delivery of their emotive messages are still strong enough to convince and to hold spellbound gullible audiences.
Without the spirit of discernment, even an awakened soul can still be misled by the power of their sophistry. Of course, it is mere sophistry because the Teacher of Galilee has said, by the fruit they bear we shall know if their testimony is truthful. The fruits the psychopathic overlords among us are bearing, regardless of their chosen discipline (politics, religion or banking), are evident across the world – more souls are dying or already dead.
Postscript
Dear Family and Friends, you need to wake up. This is all I can impress upon you, Wake Up! Regardless of the volume of words expressed in this dialogue, it cannot change your age long perception of life. In fact, it is not expected to change your perception. It is designed only to wake you up. It is only an awakened mind that will be conscious of its divine needs and place in the world. The Powers-That-Be in our world prefer it when you are in a perpetually sleeping state. Their agenda for world control and world domination is based on the assumption that the prescribed sedations: school education without the knowledge of truth and religious indoctrination without the power to set the soul free, will hold. And as long as you remain in a sleeping state of existence, they will eventually succeed in their diabolical plans.
Please take the following information with a calm and reflective disposition and do not react angrily at the first reading.
I wish to humbly submit that anything outside of mankind that claims to be God, that demands from you a ritual worship and sacrifices is a pretender and a deceiver. The notion of God worship violates the unity and oneness of all things. “God is not a person but it is all persons and everything that exist in nature.” God is not something that has a separate existence from all the created beings. It is part and parcel of all things in existence.
A person is like a white corpuscle or red corpuscle in the blood system; a real minuscule bit among the 50+trillion cells of the body. Yet the red or white cells cannot be separated from the body since neither the body nor the cells can remain alive for long when separated. The body does not demand a ritual worship from the red or white cell before it provides for its needs and vice versa. The white cell does not demand ritual worship from any of the other cells in the body before rising up to fight all invading enemies that infiltrate the body system.
You cannot demand a worship of yourself and from yourself if one is sane unless you are of the narcissistic bent. The tongue, the teeth, the body organs etc. cannot be expected to worship the body because they are members of the whole body. Similarly, each of us is a minuscule bit in the uncountable universe of beings; though you are really very tiny in the scheme of things but still a very significant part of the God or universe or nature complex. Mankind is not expected to worship God in the fashion the religionist have designed and impressed on us because mankind is part of the God principle or system. Your recognition of your place under the God concept will invariably awe and humble you when you realise that the whole system contribute indisputably to your creation and continued physical existence.
This awesome knowledge of yourself and your place in the universal scheme will definitely stimulate the desire and the inclination to know more and to discover how the system was established and how it works. This quest for the truth of existence will henceforth become a life long challenge.
The quest to know what you are is what is expected of a soul that has woken up. Each awakened soul must set out by itself to discover what it is, what it was and what will be the purpose of ones life. None can offer another an answer. Each awakened soul must discover its own unique answer. However, it makes sense to compare notes with your neighbours, friends and family who are your co-pilgrims in the journey of life. The comparative studies with others of like mind will likely quicken or shorten the time of your search and will definitely make the journey of life less arduous, more exciting and more interesting.
